It is with our deepest regret to inform the RECONECT partners that our colleague Zvonimir Kocić, executive director at Public Water Management Company “Serbia Waters”, passed away after a short illness on 5th April 2020.
He was the representative of the main stakeholder for two Serbian collaborator case studies and was very active in the project activities supporting the Serbian team.
During his professional career, he was completely dedicated to flood risk management. He participated actively in defence from floods and in many major flood control projects in Serbia. His dedication to his work was enormous.
With his sudden departure, we lost a devoted fighter for better society and a true friend.
